It will be helpful if they will be a bed with potty. Maybe a metal bed with a hole to put potty underneath the bed,for mattress must be a moveable round or square part in the middle that elders will be able to take it out(something to use to open and close) when is time to use bathroom.

Rural places like where my mom she is (Free State) we are still using dig outside toilet. She had polio now she is 71 years. Sometimes she is straggling to wakeup quickly if she need a toilet.

I believe that bed will make her sleep enjoyable and easy job for everyone who is assisting her at night.
