Daughter of 83 yr old Mother

83 yr old mom has become letharic and listless last few days.

Is on atacand and metformin for HBP and diabetes.

Says she is fine, but today she simulated smoking a cigarette instead of smoking the real one in her ashtray (1st time).

She is non-ambulatory and other than diaper rash discomfort has been pretty healthy.

What could this mean? Thank you.
